The beautiful girls are the younger sisters of one of  my favorite friends. It doesn’t seem that long ago that they were running around our dorm  in footie jammies and decorating my make up case with stickers!

copyrightkatysouthern4Fun at the park- anyone from around here knows which one!  I’m pretty sure the last image could be a “Visit Nashville” poster. I loved the late afternoon light and spending time with this family on a warm spring evening.

James Henry, Eli and I have been at the beach with the grandmothers. We had a great time but were heart broken over the devastation back home in Tennessee. Clint called with updates and reports from our house and thankfully we had no flood damage. We are praying for those who did, and are ready to help our fellow Nashvillians.

copyrightkatysouthernpsaI’m so grateful for clean water. My heart is heavy from the flooding here, and the oil spill in the Gulf. Our friends at La Providencia in Honduras are having trouble with their clean water well and also fighting fires. We are praying- and Eli is doing his part to conserve- Taking a sink bath instead of filling up the whole tub.  I love a socially responsible baby!
