The happy couple were married during the merriest time of year! The weather was very Tennessee in December, wet and cold. It made the twinkling white lights, food, drinks, music, and dance floor, all the more warm and inviting. It was a holly jolly celebration- Congratulations Sally and Joe!

Only 10 more days! We are totally in the spirit around here- The presents are under the tree, we have seen the big man in the red suit, where toy request were made, and Eli made his big acting debut in our church’s live nativity as the baby Jesus! Clint and I were Mary and Joe, and it definitely made my Christmas!

One brother was being nice and sat in front of the tree. I don’t want to call the other naughty, but… he refused to be in the picture. Doesn’t he know that Santa is watching?!

It has been an incredible 2009! Everyone that I have had the privilege of working with this year has been an incredible blessing. Being a photographer is not just something that I do, it is what I am. Everywhere I look I see a “photo op”! I am so grateful that God has given me eyes to see the beauty in His creation, in the people and the world around me.  I love celebrating families through the artistic creation of images that they can treasure for years to come. The only problem, is that in the meantime, my own family needs their wife and mommy… and I need them too!  Through much prayer and petition, I have decided to schedule about half of the sessions that I did last year, and a select number of weddings.
