Caitlin is the coolest. She just graduated from high school, has a crazy love for Jesus, is smart, funny, beautiful, and in a few weeks is off to serve special needs orphans in China for a year.  I told you she was the coolest.

A family portrait! My hope is that this image hanging on the wall of their home will be a visual reminder to the sweet orphans that they belong to a family.

I am often overwhelmed with sorrow for all of the suffering in the world. I can relate to ol’ Johnny Cash, the man in black, who vowed to wear the dark color as a reminder of the pain, until Jesus came back. 147 million (orphans) is a much larger number than I can wrap my mind around. However, I was filled with joy this morning as I sat organizing these images because Josue, Dagoberto, Julissa, Carolina, Jair, Alama, Douglas, Kenneth and Fanny are no longer forgotten, abandoned, or institutionalized. Thank you Jesus for La Providencia, the Holliday family, the house parents, workers, and supporters of PWM that are commited to loving your precious children. My hope for the Portrait of Providence project is to give hope by shining a light on His grace and mercy, administered through believers. Onward Christian soldiers!

More friends to photograph! I cannot believe that this sweet baby boy is one year old! He was my first “practice client” as a newborn. It has been such fun watching him grow this year. Their session was postponed due to the crazy amounts of rain around here lately. It can be a bit inconvenient as a photographer, but is worth having all of this green, green grass. I love it!

Summer is here and my belly is only getting bigger! 

I have two session spots available for mid- June before  taking a maternity leave to welcome our new baby boy in July. I also have two session spots available for August and I am currently booking for the fall. Don’t miss out on Christmas Card season! (Did I really just say Christmas Cards?! Wow, guess you gotta plan ahead)

It is necessary to pre-pay for sessions to reserve your preferred date and time. Session fees are transferable but are non-refundable.

Travel Dates:

I have had many request for travel to Knoxville and Memphis recently.  I would normally be up for a road trip but I have found that with my pregnancy it is not an option this season. However, I will be happy to serve you here in Nashville :) 

I will be in Douglasville, Georgia and available for sessions Friday May 22^nd – Saturday the 23^rd and again on Monday June 1^st and Tuesday the 2^nd 

Every session for the last two weeks has been postponed due to weather. Yesterday evening, there was a nice break in the rain that provided the most beautiful light. I was determined to get out and shoot the beautiful green, green grass and trees. My favorite little model was glad to be outside as well.
